Weekend Goodies

It's the weekend and that means mom has gone to the Farmers Market to buy lots of great stuff. She brought back some Swiss Chard and before she could get it out of the bag, we had to dig right in. I mean, it's been months since the Market closed last October. Did you think we'd be polite or something like that?

We did save some for mom and dad...really we did.

  2. The woman has gotten stuff that last couple of weeks, but this weekend she missed out due to the cat show that she worked. Sigh. AND she really likes this one Siamese that she is hoping to talk the Male into adopting...

  9. Are you sure you two are buns-in-disguise??? Heeheehee

Maybe if your humans had arranged the world properly so swiss chard was around all year, you wouldn't have had to eat half of what they finally brought home!

    Sheesh! Humans!

  17. Oh. My. Cats! We have three questions:

    1. Does your Mommy wash the chard after you are done?
    2. Does it stay down or come back up?
    3. Does it make you farty?

    Thanks! MOL!

  21. OMC, you two are SO lucky! We would NEVER be allowed to eat the greens right out of the bag. In fact, we'd be lucky if my human offered us any at all. And I hear Swiss chard is full of chompy goodness.

We can see a mother-daughter resemblance in the close-up of your faces. So beautiful!!!
We don't actually eat any greens ourselves but we're forever fans of a kitty called Uncle Irving who used to eat lots of green produce. We think he has a book out!
