Grete woofie is sad. She heard about what happened to Bear-Bear in a dog park in Maryland. Ever since she heard the news she's been in a funk.
I've tried cheering her up, doing mousie immitations, whatever I can think of, but it's not working. I've promised her we are purring for justice for Bear-Bear.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is just be there.

The story about Bear Bear was way too upsetting. Perhaps that is why Cheysuli is sick?

We haven't been able to read the story of Baby-Bear 'cos mom said these things upset her too much for detals. But we can read between the lines and we are purring for justice.

That's an awful story! We cannot believe the guy thought it was OK to shoot off a gun in a dog park. We're purring for justice too - and also for Bear-Bear's family.

Unfortunately we've heard about this terrible injustice as well. It makes us very sad & our Mom VERY mad - she sent out emails to her friends & family to spread the story, to protest & to support harsher penalties for blatant animal abuse!!!

Elie it is good of you to be there for Grete - we can understand why she is so sad because Bear-Bear's story has made us sad too.
We feels badly fur Bear-Bear too. We writes a letter to the county-exec and him writes back to sais thank you fur telling him we has a worry-worry.
We hopes Grete feels better soon.
